Erica Garner, the daughter of police chokehold victim Eric Garner, slammed Hillary Clinton after Wikileaks emails showed Hillary’s camp discussed “using” Eric Garner’s death to pander to black voters and push an anti-gun agenda.
In a series of scathing tweets, Erica Garner expressed her disgust at Hillary’s transparent attempt to exploit her dad’s death to pretend she cares about black people.
“I’m troubled by the revelation that you and this campaign actually discussed ‘using’ Eric Garner,” Erica Garner tweeted. “Why would you want to ‘use my dad? These people will co-opt anything to push their agenda.”
Erica was especially furious after Wikileaks emails showed the Clinton camp was desperate to exploit her dad’s death to push an anti-gun narrative, when Eric Garner’s death resulted from a chokehold — not gun violence.
Clinton’s press secretary Nick Merrill wrote in a March 17 email: “I know we have Erica Garner issues, but we don’t want to mention Eric at all? I can see her coming after us for leaving him out of the piece.”
Maya Harris, another Clinton aide, replied: “Eric Garner not included because not killed by gun violence.”
Erica Garner faux-praised Clinton aide Maya Harris (an African-American) for “saving” the Clinton camp from a smackdown from her.
“I’m glad you had Maya on your team to explain why you won’t be USING my dad in you f—–g gun violence piece,” Erica tweeted. “Black woman saved your *ss.”
Hillary has been publicly pandering to black voters while her camp secretly derided them in private emails.
The activist group Black Lives Matter says the organization does NOT endorse Hillary, who has been struggling with minority voters, as RevoRepublic has reported.
Black Lives Matter made the clarification after BLM activist DeRay Mckesson endorsed Clinton. But the group said it does not support Hillary.
