Saudi Arabia has slammed European nations for being racist toward the throngs of Muslim refugees they have taken in even though the wealthy, oil-rich nations have taken in zero refugees and have done little to help its Muslim brethren.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today expressed deep concern about the increasing hostile, racist and inhuman rhetoric against refugees in general, and Muslim refugees in particular,” Saudi rep Saad bin Abdullah Al-Saad said in a speech before the U.N. General Assembly.
Saudi Arabia called the Syrian refugee crisis an unprecedented “humanitarian disaster” and said it will “provide appropriate financial support and provide support to countries receiving refugees.”
However, Saudi Arabia did not offer to take in any of the 4 million refugees fleeing poverty and persecution in war-torn Syria.
Meanwhile, the United States has given $4.5 billion in humanitarian aid to assist Syrian refugees and the countries that are hosting them — more than any other country.
Similarly, European Union leaders have pledged over $3 billion in aid and have taken in over 4 million refugees since 2011.
In contrast, Saudi Arabia has pledged $700 million in aid and has offered asylum to 0 refugees.
While Saudi Arabia claims it has taken in 2.5 million Syrian refugees, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have both confirmed that Saudi Arabia and the other wealthy Arab States of the Persian Gulf (Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates) have taken in no refugees.
“The Gulf States have accepted zero refugees,” Geoffrey Mock of Amnesty International told the Daily Caller.
Ironically, the Gulf States cited concerns over terrorism and social unrest for their decision to not take any refugees — most of whom are Muslims fleeing neighboring Syria, Afghanistan, North Africa and Iran.
However, when those same concerns are raised by Europe or the United States, they get accused of being racist and Islamophobic. Not surprisingly, the mass migration of Muslims has caused social and economic turmoil in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Sweden.
Sweden, which has a population of 9.8 million, took in some 190,000 refugees in 2015.
Sweden, which once boasted extremely low crime rates and is one of the most feminist countries in the world, is now the rape capital of the West, thanks to mass Muslim migration.
While Saudi Arabia takes in no refugees and criticizes the United States and European nations for being racist, the wealthy Arab country has 100,000 air-conditioned tents sitting empty that can house over 3 million people.
“The sprawling network of high-quality tents are located in the city of Mina, spreading across a 20-square-kilometer valley, and are only used for 5 days of the year by Hajj pilgrims,” InfoWars reported. “For the rest of the year, Mina remains pretty much deserted.”
